Unruly Pakistani protesters attacked the Indian High Commission in London after a demonstration over the Kashmir issue turned violent on Tuesday. Radicalised Pakistanis shouting “Allahu Akbar” pelted stones and eggs on the High Commission building breaking window panes and vandalized the property. They were protesting against India’s decision to nullify Article 370 of the Indian Constitution that provide special status to Jammu and Kashmir.
This is the second incident of violent demonstration outside the Indian High Commission in London. The first was on August 15. Carrying Pakistani flags, rogues menacingly approached the building and tried to gatecrash. One eyewitness said, “Radicalised Pakistanis in hundreds gathered in front of the Indian High Commission and started shouting slogans like Azadi and Allahu Akbar. The crowd was undisciplined and menacing. They hurled stones, flags and eggs on the premises,” said the eyewitness.
Meanwhile, two people have been arrested by the London police in connection with the violent protest. London Mayor Sadiq Khan also condemned the action of his fellow Pakistanis.
