In a move that will empower better livelihood for residents of Jammu and Kashmir, government today announced 50,000 government jobs for youths in the state.
The decision was announced by Jammu and Kashmir Governor Satya Pal Malik today. Adressing a press conference held at Raj Bhawan in Srinagar, the governor said that in coming two to three months, about 50 thousand government jobs will be provided to the youths of the State.
Governor Malik said, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has assured that the cultural, linguistic and religious identity of the people of Jammu and Kashmir will be protected, secured and preserved in a befitting manner.
The Governor said, every life is valuable and the government does not want the loss of even a single life. He promised election and vibrant democracy in the state. Mr. Malik said that the overall situation in the valley is improving and normal life will be restored soon.
The Administration is opening mobile phone connectivity in Kupwara and Handwara districts of Kashmir and soon it will be opened in other districts as well.
Mr. Malik said restrictions in 81 police station areas have been lifted and primary, middle and high schools reopened in Kashmir Valley. Mr. Malik said, 50 more degree colleges will be set up in the state.
