Kasargod: A video footage has surfaced in which a CPI(M) leader is seen openly issuing threats to the Youth Congress workers — Sharath Lal and Prejith — who were chopped to pieces recently. The man who issued the threat is Kasaragod district committee member VPP Musthafa. The CPI(M) leader had warned the Youth Congress activists that CPI(M) would not leave even a few pieces of the flesh for the funeral pyre.
The video shot on January 7 brings a speech made two days after an incident where Peethambaran (the prime suspect behind the twin-murder of youth congress workers at Kalyott, Kasaragod) and another party worker was attacked by a few Youth Congress workers in Kallyott, Kasaragod.
“We have had enough patience. We have forgiven the incidents including the attempt to physically abuse our party members Peethambaran and Surendran, however, if this continues, we will emerge like that of a missile and shatter the opponents in such a way that there won’t be even few pieces of their flesh left for the funeral pyre.”
“They (the Congress workers) must be the followers of the Gandhian order, however, we are not. We will not spare anyone; let them be Govindan Nair (a senior Congress leader), Baburaj or someone else. Even if you file a case against or not, you know the scheme CPI(M) follows.” The call for the terror by CPI(M) leader VPP Musthafa continues.
The video has once again left the CPI(M) leadership under rigorous stress who has been continuously ruling out the role of the Party in the cold-blooded murder. A former Student Federation of India (SFI) activist, VPP Musthafa is the member of District Panchayat and a Kannur University Syndicate.
