More than 10 people died on Monday and several injured after a two-storey building collapsed following a cylinder blast in Mohammadabad, Mau in Uttar Pradesh. While 15 people were injured in the incident, several are feared trapped within the building.
The death toll could climb as several people are feared to be trapped inside the building. At present, rescue operations are being conducted by a rescue team to help the people trapped inside the building.
Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has taken cognizance of the incident and ordered concerned officials to make proper arrangements for the treatment of the injured. He also expressed condolences to the families of the deceased people.
