Bangladeshi author Taslima Nasreen women rights campaigner Taslima Nasreen today lashed at the controversial Islamic Scholar Zakir Naik on his recent remarks in Malaysia. In a tweet aimed at India’s wanted Islamic extremist, she said he is a true Muslim that even a Muslim country can’t tolerate.

“Zakir Naik is a true Muslim. Even a Muslim country can’t tolerate him. Malaysia will expel him.” She said. “True Muslims are trouble makers. ISIS,Taliban,Al-Qaeda etc. are true Muslim’s org. Better be a little fake Muslims, reinterpret the Quran as if hate means love, kill means kiss.” The tweet reads.

Zakir Naik is a true Muslim. Even a Muslim country can't tolerate him. Malaysia will expel him. True Muslims are trouble makers. ISIS,Taliban,Al-Qaeda etc. are true Muslim's org. Better be a little fake Muslims, reinterpret the Quran as if hate means love, kill means kiss.

Taslima Nasreen had earlier described preacher Zakir Naik as “dangerous” because he “promotes 7th century Quranic texts on sex slaves, polygamy and wife beating in 21st century”. Referring to the deadly attacks in Bangladesh by Islamists, she said that “Many Bangladeshi would-be-terrorists are inspired by Zakir Naik. He is not having machetes in hands. But his followers are having machetes in hands.”

The Malaysian government had earlier announced that it will summon Indian Muslim preacher Zakir Naik over controversial statements he made about ethnic minorities in the country. Home Affairs Minister Muhyiddin Yassin said in a statement late on Thursday that the police will question Naik following his remarks about Malaysians of Chinese and Hindu backgrounds.
