Uttar Pradesh government has roped in all sections of society to contain the spread of Corona virus. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath yesterday met various religious leaders through video conference appealing them to help fight the COVID-19 disease. Mr Yogi also had video conference with Members of Parliament and Union Ministers from the state.
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said that the success of 21 days lockdown will set the direction of next step in this fight. While addressing religious leaders Mr Yogi said that the state government has taken several steps in this direction. He said poor and stranded people are being provided free of cost ration and food items. Government is trying that nobody should remain hungry. Three-tier Medical facilities are being arranged.
He appealed people that this problem is for some days and people should very careful. Mr Yogi also Sought suggestions from religious leaders regarding next step after 21 days lockdown. Meanwhile after getting 44 new cases yesterday the number of Corona cases in state has reached to 278.
Gautam Buddh Nagar has maximum 58 cases followed by 47 in Agra. Total 31 district have come in the ambit of Corona 19. Additional chief secretary Avnish Kumar Avasthi told reporters that 1499 of tablighi Jamaat have been identified out office 1205 quarantined. 42 FIRs have been lodged against foreigners. People in state showed their togetherness against COVID-19 yesterday at 9 PM by illuminating their homes.
