As the world celebrated International Women’s Day, The Writers Capital Foundation honoured women hailing from various countries with the Most Influential Women’s Award for 2021. Women working in various areas in life were considered for the award. Due to the pandemic, the programme was conducted virtually.
Silla Maria Campanini, Dr. Katerina Koumidou, Johanna Devadayavu, Caroline Laurent Turunc, Saba Zain, Dr. Mahima Modi Gupta, Ianni Carina C. Janatha Ratheesh, Jamila Alhaib, Anna Bithikotsi, Aggeliki Karapanou, Angeliki Psaki Kovaiou, Maria Retali, Kate Koumanidou, Slavica Blagojević, Nina Diakovasili, Slavica Blagojević are among the awardees.
In a press release, Secretary-General of Writers Capital Foundation Irene Doura-Kavadia said the organisation is committed to supporting women’s empowerment across the world. Various activities are conducted across the world, especially in the field of arts and literature whereas the foundation has introduced a number of women to the forefront.
