Mao is reported to have been responsible for the death of anywhere between 45 – 80 million people between 1958 and 1962.
“Crazy with fury I will stain my rifle red while slaughtering any enemy that falls in my hands! My nostrils dilate while savoring the acrid odor of gunpowder and blood. With the deaths of my enemies I prepare my being for the sacred fight and join the triumphant proletariat with a bestial howl!”
“Hatred as an element of struggle; unbending hatred for the enemy, which pushes a human being beyond his natural limitations, making him into an effective, violent, selective, and cold-blooded killing machine. This is what our soldiers must become …” Ché Guevara. He is reported to have killed more than 4000 people directly or indirectly.
Stalin, the famous Communist ruler of Russia killed over 20 million people.
Fascist Benito Mussolini’s invading soldiers murdered many thousands of civilians, bombed the Red Cross, dropped poison gas, starved infants in concentration camps and tried to annihilate cultures deemed inferior.
But all these mass murderers are the heroes for our Marxists, Maoists and Naxalites, who worship these ‘great’ rulers and their methods of bringing about a Revolution in their respective countries.
Now Guess who their ENEMY no.1 is? NARENDRA MODI, the PM of Bharat. In the words of all the apologists, Marxists, Maoists, Naxalites, Leftists, ‘intellectuals’ – Modi ji is a FASCIST, who arrests people at the drop of a hat, who prevents people from exercising their Freedom of Expression. How many millions of people has he killed? ZERO. But still, Modi ji is the Villain and Mao & Stalin are Heroes.
As per a report from Republic (News) 3,223 civilians were killed by Maoists in the last 10 years. In contrast, 1119 Naxals were killed in one year (upto May 2018). In 2016 there was a reported increase by 160% in killings of Naxalites. This Modi Government has gone hammer and tongs on Naxalites and Terrorists. To break the bone of the Naxalites, the Modi Government improved on infrastructure and increased access to the remotest parts of Bharat, especially the North East and the Eastern corridor which is affected by Naxal violence. As per a report of 2013, 128 organizations were operating on behalf of the CPIM which was spearheading the Naxal insurgent movement in India. According to the IB, these organizations were present in 16 states affecting 82 districts of India. As per a 2011 report by Times Of India, Maoists were earning Rs.2000 crores a year through extortion. In fact Demonetization brought with it reports that Maoists had buried Rs. 7500 crores deep underground in the forests of Bharat. Imagine their loss thanks to Demonetization.
Maoists earn protection money from individuals as well as businesses. Illegal mining is one of their biggest sources of income. Would you believe that Public Works Department (PWD) and Public Distribution Systems (PDS) is another big source? Earlier MNREGA and Indira Awaas Yojana now known as Pradhan Mantri Gramin Awaas Yojana [PMGAY]) were also big contributors to their extortion money racket. Direct money transfer via Jan Dhan and Aadhar linking has dealt a big blow to this source of income. Not surprisingly, cultivation of ganja and tendu leaf also are a source of income. ‘There is a symbiotic relationship between the Maoists and illegal mining, as well as forest produce.’
On 16 April,2018 the Union Home Ministry removed 44 districts from the list of left-wing extremism (LWE) hit states, bringing the number of affected districts down to 30. Incidents of left-wing extremism have declined by 60% from 2,258 in 2009 to 908 in 2017, according to Union home ministry statistics. Over 3,700 Naxals have surrendered in the last 4 years. Of this more than 500 Maoists surrendered within a month of Demonetization. It is now believed that the extortion money income of the Maoists is about Rs 140 – 250 crores per year now, though I feel these are grossly undervalued figures. Is it any wonder then that Narendra Modi has been declared as Enemy No.1?
With the Modi Government waging a war against the Maoists on their terrain, it was only to be expected that they would wage a war back in Urban areas as well. It is well know that many of those who are known as Intellectuals, Journalists, Lawyers, Professors, are all supporters of the Naxal movement in India. They have an amazing network which attacks our Culture, Religion, Nation and makes us feel inferior to any other country be it the US or Pakistan. They prey on our youngsters, our college going generation and wage a subtle, mind game to subvert these youngsters into disrespecting our Heritage and Culture. Most of the messages that one sees on Whatsapp against festivals like Holi, Diwali & all are a result of this.
5 people who were considered very erudite and having a profile showing them to be sympathizers of the Adivasis, were arrested recently. As expected, a whole group of Left leaning Journalists, Lawyers, ‘Historians’, Activists, are hopping mad at the Modi Government, calling him a Fascist and insisting that he is throttling the Freedom of Expression of the people of the Nation. But ironically all these people were first and then repeatedly arrested by the Congress Government. Varavara Rao was jailed for 2 yrs for waging a war. He famously said, “You can’t fight a system without taking arms in your hands.” Vernon Gonzalves was arrested in 2007 for 5 years, for Naxal links & for possessing explosives. Arun Ferreira was arrested in 2007. Gautam Navlakha has supported Referendum in Kashmir and has been prevented from entering Kashmir and been detained u/s 144 of the Code of Criminal Procedure. Sudha Baradwaj fights cases of only Naxals & terrorists in courts.
Some other reactions to these arrests are as expected. As per former Bihar CM Lalu Prasad Yadav, “This country is moving towards dictatorship. The arrests of the five intellectuals show that the country is moving towards emergency and I condemn it.” Rahul Gandhi gave a even more bizarre reaction – “There is only place for one NGO in India and it’s called the RSS. Shut down all other NGOs. Jail all activists and shoot those that complain. Welcome to the new India.” He probably forgot that his own Congress Government had arrested these people earlier. Twinkle Khanna expressed it as “Freedom is not lost all at once, it is lost in units of one, one at a time, one activist, one lawyer, one writer till finally it’s each one of us..” In the meantime, five eminent persons moved SC to release those arrested – Romila Thapar, Devaki Jain, Prabhat Patnaik, Satish Deshpande and Maja Dharuwala. The Supreme Court gave relief to the 5 arrested by saying Dissent is a safety valve for Democracy. The SC put a Stay on arrest till 6 September and allowed for house arrest till then.
What do the readers think? Do you think these people are Innocent of the crime they have been arrested for? Why are majority of the Maoists Christians or neo-Christian Converts?
I think that we can brace ourselves another round of “Award Waapsi” … What do you say?
