The World Health Organization-WHO will provide assistance to the Madhya Pradesh Government in various activities related to prevention of COVID19 pandemic. The department of Health has issued a letter to all the District Collectors to coordinate with the officials of the WHO.
The World Health Organization will provide the services of researchers for the analysis of pandemic related district-wise data. The organization will also assist in training, control area and buffer area management, contact tracing and community monitoring. Meanwhile, the state government has granted permission to the private hospitals to use rapid anti-body test kits for suspected COVID19 patients.
The Government has issued a letter to the private hospitals asking them to use Rapid Anti Body Test Kit, approved by the Indian Council of Medical Research. It will also be necessary for private hospitals to ensure compliance with the protocol issued by ICMR in this regard.
As per the protocol, on getting positive test of this kit, it will be mandatory for them to inform the Chief Medical and Health Officer of the district immediately. In addition, it is also necessary to refer the patient to the nearest Dedicated Covid Care Center or Dedicated Covid Health Center for treatment.
