We are elated by the Supreme Court judgement in support of Demonetisation, the bold decision taken by Hon Prime Minister in 2016.

Sec 26 of RBI Act can be used to demonetise, which I mentioned in the Public Accounts Committee when discussion took place, when the chairman and many members were attacking demonetisation.

Even during Congress rule it was done earlier.  But when the black money/ parallel economy and fake notes from within and outside the country was in large circulation during congress rule they had not the gumption to take action as the culprits were prima facie mostly their supporters.

Now tax evasion has considerably reduced
and increased tax revenues in the country which  has been used by the Central government to build a economically vibrant India.
More over, Demonetisation helped in the formalisation and digitisation of the economy in a phenomenal manner.
Cashless transactions have been increasing day by day, which prevents circulation of black money.

Demonetisation resulted in plugging of present and future unaccounted money – another spectacular achievement.

Demonetisation cleansed the economy from the parallel economy – a debilitating legacy of Congress – Demonetisation unearthed black money and Eradicated corruption and terrorist funding too.

Besides, Demonetisation helped the poor to live comfortably. Now they can afford to buy land and get a house under PMAY. Or ontain  a Mudra Loan and start an economic activity. They get free treatment under Ayushmann Bharath. Free cooking gas and electricity and plethora of other welfare schemes.,

Modiji Govt’s anti – poverty schemes are colossal and are embracing the whole country and its people.
Furthermore, the distribution of all benefits to the poor was done through DBT system  which reduced corruption and leakages, so that many more people could be served with the money saved.

Demonetisation was a bold decision taken by the Modiji Govt to help the poor apart from saving the country from the disastrous impact of the parallel economy, which made the poor, poorer during decades of Congress regime.
In addition, Demonetisation reduced illegal trading and got rid of fake currency and Set in motion accountability of businesses transactions and Increased national income.

We congratulate the Hon Prime Minister for saving the country from black market operations, terrorists and corruption.
