Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Sunday (August 2) tested positive for COVID-19 coronavirus infection and has been admitted to a hospital. Doctors have said that due to existing health issues, he needs extreme care and they have started monitoring the level of oxygen in the body.
Shah (55) took to social media today to report his infection. The Union Home Minister also appealed to those who came into close contact with him in the last few days to get themselves tested for COVID-19.
As per reports, tt is not clear whether he has a close relationship with Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Amit Shah was one of the dignitaries invited to the Bhumipooja ceremony at the Ayodhya Ram Temple on August 5.
