Two trains collide at Kachiguda Station in Hyderabad, 12 injured

In Telangana, a local train collided with a static Express train at Kachiguda Station in Hyderabad. The Disaster Response teams are making all-out efforts to rescue the Pilot of local train who was stuck between two trains.

South Central Railway Additional General Manager B B Singh informed that 12 passengers injured in the incident.

Quoting preliminary observations, he informed that the accident occurred due to human error as a train came to the same track on which another train already existed.

The injured have been admitted to Osmania Hospital and all of them except three, have been discharged after treatment. Meanwhile, the Railway authorities have ordered an enquiry into the incident.
