RRR, the latest epic film by director SS Rajamouli, has won the Best International Film Award at the Hollywood Critics Association Awards. The movie stars Junior NTR and Ram Charan in the lead roles and has become a hot topic among film fans around the world.
SS Rajamouli and Ram Charan were invited to the stage to receive the award, and the actor promised to come back with even better movies to entertain his audience. Rajamouli, on the other hand, dedicated the award to all filmmakers in India and expressed his gratitude to the Hollywood Critics Association for recognizing his film.
RRR also won awards in other categories, including Best Action Film, Best Fight, and Best Song for the track “Natu Natu,” which has been nominated for an Oscar. The film has reportedly earned over 1200 crores worldwide and will be re-released in the US on March 3 in over 200 theaters ahead of the Academy Awards on March 13.
Ram Charan made history as the first Indian actor to receive the HCA awards. The success of RRR has also given hope to Indian filmmakers that they too can make international films and compete on the global stage.
