A dog was allegedly dragged for 2 kilometres after being tied to a vehicle in Kerala’s Ernakulam district
In a yet another instance of cruelty towards animals in Kerala, video visuals of an incident has surfaced from Kerala’s Ernakulam on Friday where a dog was subjected to torture by unidentified persons. The canine was tied by a rope to a four-wheeler and was dragged for around 2 kilometres by the heartless accused.
The incident took place at 11 am today. Akhil, who was following the car, filmed the scenes. Looking from a distance, he thought the dog was running after the car. But when he got closer, he realized that the dog was strangled and tied to the back of the car. The youth yelled at the driver when he saw the dog being tied up and stopped the vehicle.
Though a case has been registered regarding the incident, reports say that no arrest has been made yet. Lawyer Reshmitha Ramachandran and others have shared a video of the atrocity on Facebook. The registration details show that the vehicle belongs to Abdul Jaleel, a resident of North parur, Ernakulam.
