Exposing the true face of Pinarayi Vijayan administration in the state renowned architect and Padmashree awardee G Shankar has come up with an emotional live video that has gone viral in social media. While thousands of people have come up with stringent criticism on the government, celebrities such as filmmaker Joy Mathew has slammed the major lapse and reminds Pinarayi Vijayan that the people in the state will count every lapse by the CM to give a befitting reply.
Gopalan Nair Shankar, popularly known as G. Shankar, who is an architect who advocates the use of locally available materials, sustainability, eco-friendliness and cost-effectiveness had posted a video the other day lamenting that he was struggling to pay salaries to his employees owing to the huge dues from the government for various projects completed.
The architect also said that payments for the construction of K R Narayanan National Institute of Visual Science and Arts completed over four years back were even still pending. A section of officials were trying to find out reasons for delaying payments. In an extremely painful note he concludes that it is nothing but fire burning within while thinking about the upcoming festive season of Onam where he is afraid if he could pay the salary for his employees.
Filmmaker and actor Joy Mathew who came expressing his solidarity with Shankar reminded Pinarayi Vijayan his own popular quote that says there is a life in every file and he questions the CM if G Shankar’s file missing the ‘life’ that he indicated. Mathew further said the bitter experience of renowned architect Shankar was not an isolated one. Most of the media in the state have taken up the issue.
