Four human skeletons were recovered during a search operation in routes leading to Kedarnath on Sunday.
A joint team of Uttarakhand police and State Disaster Response Force (SDRF) were conducting a search operation to trace the remains of the people who went missing since the 2013 Kedarnath flash floods.
“During the intensive search operation, we have found four male skeletons. The deceased went missing during the 2013 Kedarnath disaster,” informed Rudraprayag SP Office to media.
These skeletons will be sent for DNA test and will be cremated in Mandakini and Sone rivers, it added.
