Sabarimala pilgrimage; devotees should maintain a distance of two feet while trekking hill and for darshan, guidelines out

COVID guidelines have been released for Sabarimala devotees. The devotees should have COVID negative certificate with them. The guideline said this certificate must be taken 24 hours before reaching Nilakkal. It is directed that all precautions must be taken even if the antigen test is found to be negative.

Hands should be washed every 30 minutes after reaching Sabarimala. Maintain a social distance of two feet while trekking the hill and waiting for darshan. Masks are compulsory.

The guideline also mentioned that one should trek the hill only if he is in good health. The guideline asserted that a COVID cured patient should undergo an accurate physical fitness test and only if he is in good health should trek the hill.
