As the hearing in the Rama Janmabhumi case is underway in the Supreme Court, senior BJP leader Subramanian Swamy has claimed that the construction of the grand Ram temple in Ayodhya will commence by November.
According to the BJP MP who was on a two-day visit to Ayodhya, the SC verdict will be in favour of Ram temple. Swamy also said that the right to worship is a fundamental right Muslims’ right over property comes secondary. “The temple which is at the spot of Lord Ram’s birth cannot be removed,” he added.
Apart from Vishwa Hindu Parishad, other Hindu organisations have been clamouring for the construction of the temple. Recently, Shiv Sena supremo Uddhav Thackeray had called upon Prime Minister Narendra Modi to enable speedy construction of the grand Ram temple in Ayodhya.
“We had said before the elections that the Kashmir issue would be resolved. The opposition was saying we would not let Article 370 go. I am proud of you Modiji,” Thackeray had said even as he advocated the cause of Ram temple.
