Police have registered case against the parents who accompanied their children and for gathering during the Kerala Engineering Architecture Medical (KEAM) entrance examination.
About 600 parents have been booked by the police for violating social distancing norms. The action comes after the image of a crowd surfaced on the social media.
The DGP then directed to register case against the parents.
According to the police, over 300 people came in large gathering at the exam centre at Cotton Hills School. Even a similar situation was seen at St. Mary’s School.
Based on these, cases have been registered against 600 people who can be identified on sight at these two police stations.
Meanwhile, 5 candidates who appeared for the exam have tested positive for coronavirus.
