Passengers from all countries have been granted permission to directly enter Kuwait from February 21 onwards, the civil aviation authorities informed. There was a ban on foreigners coming to the country as part of COVID preventive steps.
The permission is bound by strict conditions. Those from the countries with high risk of COVID-19 must spend two weeks in institutional quarantine (hotel quarantine). Others must spend one week in hotel quarantine and one week at home.
Health workers, diplomats and children aged below 18 years who are travelling alone are exempted from this condition. However, they must spend one week in-home quarantine.
