Pakistani troops resorted to unprovoked, indiscriminate firing on Indian forward posts, civilian areas in Rajouri

In yet another incident of ceasefire violation, Pakistani troops resorted to unprovoked and indiscriminate firing on Indian forward posts and civilian areas in the border district of Rajouri in Jammu Division of J&K Union Territory today.

Defence Spokesperson told AIR News Jammu that at about 1130 hrs Pakistani troops initiated unprovoked ceasefire violation by firing of small arms and shelling with mortars in Sunderbani Sector of district Rajouri. However, Indian troops immediately retaliated and started giving an effective reply.

The exchange of fire was going on when the reports last came in. No damage was reported from the Indian side so far.
