Pakistan has rejected India’s attempt to appoint a defence counsel for Kulbhushan Jadhav and said that only “locally registered lawyers” will be allowed to appear before the bench.
As per report in Geo News, Pakistan Foreign Office Spokesperson Zahid Hafeez Chaudhri stated that India has no other option but “to cooperate with Pakistani courts”, which only permitted the appearance of locally registered lawyers before the bench.
