Young writer and Organiser weekly Journalist Ganesh Puthur has won Dr. Mangalam Swaminathan National Award for Excellence in Art and Culture 2021 for popularising Indian Art & Culture and for his exceptional achievements as a poet, writer and social activist. His anthology of poems in Malayalam titled ‘Achante Alamara’ had won numerous awards. The award is presented by Dr Mangalam Swaminathan Foundation.
Ganesh Puthur will receive a cash award of Rs. One lakh, citation and memento in bronze at a special function held at NDMC main auditorium, New Delhi on 29th November 2021.
Ganesh is a native of Kerala and a well-known poet in Malayalam. He is a recipient of various literary awards including Mamboo Sahitya Puraskar, Ramavarma Raja Sahitya Puraskar and Mathrubhumi Vishuppathipp Poetry award.
