One man who was killed in Kerala’s air crash yesterday was tested positive, reveals the health department. Following the incident, the health department has rescuers directed to undergo COVID quarantine as a precaution.
More samples are being collected to find if other COVID-19 cases are involved in the incident. However, the case has further created panic among other passengers and rescue workers who rushed to the site last night.
As per reports, passengers travelling a flight are prone to get infected if there is at least one passenger is COVID-19 positive due to air being circulated with a flight. 45 CRPF jawans and locals who participated in last night’s operation may also have to be tested for the COVID-19. The health department will soon test others who are involved in the case.
