A film production company has been formed under the leadership of director Ali Akbar. The company named ‘Mama Dharma’ was inaugurated at the hands of Kolathur Advaithasramam head Swami Chidanandapuri.
The new production house was launched after Ali Akbar announced a film based on Hindu genocide in 1921.
The work on the film is in the initial stages, he had said. Ali Akbar said that the film will be released in a year. Swami Chidanandapuri expressed his full support for the new venture.
Ali Akbar’s film was announced after Aashiq Abu and his team announced that they would release a film on Variyan Kunnathu Kunjahammed Haji, who led the 1921 riots.
Kesari Editor-in-Chief NR Madhu, Janmabhoomi News Editor M Balakrishnan, Tapasya State Secretary Anoop Kunnath and Sevabharati State Secretary Shaj Kumar were also present on the occasion.
