Jobs and livelihood are the most important concerns of youths in Jammu and Kashmir and not azadi (liberation from India), as being projected in the Left-liberal media and Pakistan.
Following a recruitment drive, more than 570 youths, drawn from different parts of Jammu & Kashmir, were inducted in the India Army on Saturday. According to them, more youths were interested in joining the army and sought at least two recruitment drives in a year. The new recruits for the Jammu and Kashmir Light Infantry were inducted at the passing out parade in Srinagar on Saturday, reports Zee News.
New recruits told the news channel that they were ready to serve the motherland and would not refrain even from sacrificing their lives in the line of duty. They also expressed pride over the fact that they were now part of the Indian Army.
