For Australia, Marnus Labuschagne was the highest scorer with 48 runs and he became the first Test scalp of debutant pacer Mohammad Siraj. Mohammad Siraj picked two wickets.
India made four changes with Shubman Gill and Mohammed Siraj making their Test debuts. Also, Ravindra Jadeja and Rishabh Pant returned to the playing Eleven, in place of Wriddhiman Saha, Prithvi Shaw and Mohammed Shami.
India trail 0-1 in the series after going down by eight wickets in the opening day-night test in Adelaide.
