Maruti Suzuki, the country’s largest car maker, has showcased its first electric vehicle at the Delhi Auto Expo, India’s biggest auto show.
Maruti has assured that the EVX concept model will hit the roads by 2025. More than just a concept model, this vehicle has been revealed including the mechanical features.
There is no doubt that the existence of an electric vehicle is based on range. Therefore, high range is the main consideration of Maruti. Maruti guarantees a range of 550 km on a single charge.
For this, it has been informed that the Maruti EVX will be provided with a battery pack with a capacity of 60 kilowatt hours. The makers assure that Maruti’s own dedicated EV platform forms the basis for this electric vehicle.
