MAMA: Poem by Rosario Pfister

Painting: Liz W

Mama you had me, for nine months,
Those months you were interested in me,
The two of us, although we had in that world,
That world of love of sweetness, I one day
I started to kick your body and for
we first met, we had the first
love in sight, that love that,
with your look you were filled with joy.

Y vos hija.
Me cuidaste, me mimaste, me enseñaste a
Mamá siempre te ame y te voy a amar, no importa,

My dear
As time passed, we learned to
Loving each other.
At the beginning I taught you to be a mother,
And you daughter.
You took care of me, you pampered me, you taught me to
Walk to live life.
And as time goes by, I take care of you.
Mom always love you and I’m going to love you, it doesn’t matter,
The time it takes us to continue knowing each other,
I only know that we love each other, and that
no matter what happens.
I love you as you are and I know that
You are the only one in life
That she loves me as I love you.
