While the rumours of resignation are in the air, Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray yesterday vacated his official residence.
According to reports, Uddhav Thackeray and his family left ‘Versha Bungalow’, the official residence, and returned to their home ‘Matoshri’. Activists gave an emotional farewell to the Chief Minister by showering him with flowers.
Meanwhile, it is learned that more rebel MLAs have reached Guwahati. A report claimed that four Shiv Sena MLAs arrived in Guwahati in a chartered plane. The political crisis in Maharashtra erupted following the rebellion of a section of Shiv Sena MLAs led by Minister Eknath Shinde.
