Time turns the pages of life rapidly and unexpectedly. We wait for mirabilia but in turn, we face loss and irreparable loss. All the world is a stage said Shakespeare. We have exits and entrances in the stage of the world. Birth and death encumber us naturally. We have to accept. There is no written ethics for a layman or an elite. There is no discrimination on the basis of caste, creed and class. We believe in eternal power and live our life accordingly.
Life is a beautiful journey meant to be embraced to the fullest every day. It can be the eternal journey of rich experiences of happiness, sorrow, grief, success, failure, growth and satisfaction. Our spiritual pensive thoughts hold us during hard times. God is omnipotent and omniscient; We believe in the mighty power which guides and lead us. We strive hard to complete the duties ordained by the Supreme. We may or may not succeed, yet we trail dutifully to carry out the commitments of life. I am reminded of Robert Frost’s poem After Apple Picking where he says, “… there maybe two or three/ Apples I didn’t pick upon some bough”. There are probably a few apples left on some branch which strikes the common rumination: “Learn to let go; Release the stress”
We, as human beings are more of spiritual beings. We practice spirituality in our own different ways but the ultimate goal is always peace. Spirit says “Find your peace, and then everything will fall into peace”. Peace of mind connects our heart. The pressure of dubious matters gradually nibbles the peace. It must begin with our own thoughts. Even in the midst of life’s storms and hurricanes, we could revel peace gallantly.
Humanity is the greatest gift of god. Life is really simple, but we make it complicated. We are not living our dreams but living our fears. Life is a challenge and we should face it with might and mind to excel in the beautiful world. Live like its heaven on earth. Live each second without hesitation. Every moment is a fresh beginning. Believe in yourself. Have faith in your abilities. Let our hearts sing the song of kindness that will spread the fragrance of peace and integrity.
Let me conclude with the words from the sacred scripture The Bhagavad Gita 18.57: “Dedicate your activity to me, making me your supreme goal. Taking shelter of the Yog of the intellect, keep your consciousness absorbed in me always”.
