Megalomaniac poll officer Meena going slow on complaints: BJP
The state chief electoral officer Tikaram Meena has been slow in action on complaints with regard to CPI(M). “Meena has been very pro-active on acting against minor complaints and went out of way to harass BJP candidates has been going slow on complaints against the ruling CPI(M),” said VV Rajesh, BJP leader.
Meena who brought out posters of election commission with his photographs has been under fire for his partisan moves.
Talking to mediapersons, Meena said he had received complaints of bogus voting and sought report from the district collector on the same.
Election officials and government servants were part of the racket in bogus voting, alleged Rajesh. Electricity department officials did not restore power supply — which was disrupted due to bad weather — to poll booths even after power supply resumed.
