A large number of copies of the Quran are found discarded in the drainage system in one of the districts of Saudi Arabia, reports said. According to media reports, a 13-year-old boy found the abandoned copies and informed his father and father to the police.
The footage of the abandoned copies was telecasted by the MBC channel evoking anger among people. This is not the first time this kind of incident happens in Saudi Arabia. In 2013 copies of the Quran was found in the sewage system in Taif. In 2014, a Saudi Citizen had found torn copies of the Quran under similar circumstances.
