Police in Munnar, Kerala have registered yet another case under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offenses (POCSO) Act in connection with child marriage.
According to reports, the marriage was held in July 2022 between a 17-year-old girl and a 26-year-old man.
The case came to light after the girl became pregnant. The accused, Manimaran, is a temporary employee of the Kannan Devan Company and is currently on the run.
