Kerala records highest single day spike of 195 new COVID-19 cases

Kerala recorded the highest single-day spike of 195 new cases of coronavirus while 102 recovered informed Health Minister KK Shailaja.

Of the the total cases, Malappuram reported the highest cases with 47, followed by Palakkad 25, Thrissur 22, Kottayam 15, Ernakulam 14, Alappuzha 13, Kollam 12, 11 each from Kannur and Kasaragod, Kozhikode 8, Pathanamthitta 6, Wayanad 5, Thiruvananthapuram 4, Idukki 2.

Of these confirmed cases, 118 arrived from abroad, and 62 from other states. 15 infected through contact and the most cases being from Malappuram (10).
