In the latest controversy in the state in which minister A C Moideen violated rules by casted vote before 7 am, the district collector has given a clean chit for the minister stating no rules were violated.
As per the report of the collector, the voting started when it was 7 am in the watch of the presiding officer. The report has been submitted to the Election Commissioner stating that no rules were violated in this matter.
Minister A C Moideen cast vote in the polling booth at Panangattukara in Thekkumkara of Thrissur. Soon after this, MLA Anil Akkara raised the issue that A C Moideen cast vote violating rules.
The incident happens when there are several other instances where the state has seen government officials helping the ruling CPM for safeguarding themselves from legal actions.
