Giving headache to the students and parents, many fake website addresses were circulated widely after the higher secondary examination results were published on Wednesday, reports Mathrubhumi News.
During the previous days of announcing the results, many website links were forwarded across WhatsApp and other social media platforms. This included fake websites developed in the name of Kerala Pareeksha Bhavan.
The fake website address was created with an unnoticeable change in the correct spelling. Without knowing this, many including teachers shared the website links to students.
Some of them even uploaded the link as their WhatsApp status. All of them were shocked when they opened the links after the result was announced on Wednesday.
The parents and students were checking the results together at some places. On seeing a porn website instead, many raised complaints regarding it, said a teacher who shared the link without knowing the mistake.
The Cyber Police stated that similar issue had taken place when SSLC results were announced and the problem was discussed in Kozhikode Cyberdome.
