Kerala DGP’s visit to Britain must be investigated, says V Muraleedharan

Union Minister of State for External Affairs V Muraleedharan said that the CAG report against the DGP is being taken seriously by the Government. Also the Centre will intervene at the appropriate time in the case of missing arms and ammunition from the SAP camp.

The Minister said that it is also necessary to have probe into DGP Loknath Behra’s UK visit. DGP’s UK journey should be checked in case the controversial company has ties to the UK.

The Minister alleged that DGP cannot divert the funds without the knowledge of Chief Minister and has to verify whether the fraudulence is known by the latter. No action has been taken against the accused gunman of Chief Minister.

Muraleedharan also said that the short of rifles and guns is a serious matter of internal security.
