Sparkingyet another controversy, Union Minister V. Muraleedharan dropped the gunman appointed by Kerala government on the way. The incident is following the state government’s refusal to give the minister escort and pilot vehicle. In this regard, the BJP has filed a complaint against the state government, said reports.
Muraleedharan is a person who has been granted Y category security. However, sources close to Muraleedharan said that when he arrived in Kerala today, the pilot vehicle and escort which were normally given to him by the state government were not allowed. Even during the election, the pilot vehicle was omitted but the escort vehicle was allowed.
Following the incident, the gunman who was appointed by the state was left on the way. As per reports, Biju, who was in charge of the gunman, was dropped off at the roadside at Bakery Junction in Thiruvananthapuram. It is learned that the minister has decided not to have the gun provided by the government as the pilot and the escort were excluded.
