The Kerala civil police officer Anas PK who had passed personal details of RSS leaders collected by the department to Islamists may be sacked from service. The Kerala Police has issued a notice to Anas, an SDPI activist in uniform, seeking reasons why he should not be dismissed from service.
A departmental investigation has found that Anas had been in touch with SDPI goons who had been mounting physical attacks on RSS activists. Recently, a Christian man was attacked in Thodupuzha by SDPI goons numbering 150 allegedly for sharing a cartoon on Islam. The Christian man, Manoj, was saved by police from the murderous mob. While checking the mobile phones of SDPI goons, it was found that several pieces of sensitive information of the police department were disseminated by Anas.
SDPI had killed more than 20 RSS-BJP workers in the state. Recently, state BJP OBC Morcha president Renjith Sreenivasan was killed by SDPI goons in an early morning raid at his home. Renjith was hacked to death in front of his family members.
The leaking of sensitive information has cast a shadow on the functioning of the state police. It is alleged that there are several police men who are sympathisers of SDPI and there is a WhatsApp group of this collective called Pancha Velicham (Green Light).
