A section of Twitter users has taken to the social media platform to demand that Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan speak up on the Brahmapuram issue. The demand was made in response to the CM’s tweet wishing greetings to Xi Jinping on his re-election as the President of China.

The Brahmapuram issue has been a contentious one in Kerala, with people in the region facing numerous problems as a result of it. Critics of the Pinarayi Vijayan regime have accused it of being lukewarm in its approach to resolving the issue.
