The Kashi Mahakal Express, the third private train of IRCTC, departed from Indore in Madhya Pradesh today. In all, 526 pilgrims have boarded from Indore for this maiden run. The train has a capacity of around 700 passengers.
Deputy General Manager of Western Railway Pinaki Morawala informed that this is the first private train from Madhya Pradesh.
The train is connecting the three Jyotirlinga – Mahakaleshwar, in Ujjain, Omkareshwar near Indore and Kashi Vishwanath in Varanasi. Passengers traveling on this train are also very happy with this initiative.
Indore MP Shankar Lalvani flagged off the train. The train will cover around 11 hundred kilometres between Indore and Varanasi will reach Varanasi tomorrow morning.
