KAS officers visit Kerala Central University to study its functioning

Officers of the Kerala Administrative Service (KAS) visited the Central University of Kerala to study the administration and functioning of the Central University. A group of 34 people arrived at the Periya campus yesterday. The visit was part of the Kerala Darshan program as part of a one-year training. The officers interacted with the university authorities and inquired about the activity.

Registrar Dr. N. Santhosh Kumar explained the administrative matters. While Dr. M. Muraleedharan Nambiar, Controller of Examinations explained the admission procedures and conduct of the examination, Dr. Rajendra Pilankatta, President, Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, explained the academic activities.

Topics such as the university’s social service activities including Covid tests, research and development activities etc. were also discussed. The administrative officials answered the officers’ questions. Assistant Registrar Suresh Kandam was also present during the visit. Two more batches are visiting the university in the coming days.
