India-born Dr V A Shiva Ayyadurai has proved that the 2020 Presidential election in United States of America was flawed and rigged. “It was a violation against democracy committed on the people of USA. The ballot papers used for casting votes through mail-in system bore mismatched signatures of the voters and this was overlooked by the election officials of the US,” Dr Ayyadurai, a Ph D in computational systems from Massachusetts Institute of Technology, told Indus Scrolls over phone from the USA.
Dr Ayyadurai’s findings have the capability to dethrone Joe Biden, the incumbent President of the US who won against the sitting President Donald Trump in the 2020 controversial presidential poll.
Biden’s stand off with the then President Donald Trump remains unresolved even now. The Indian born systems scientist is of the view that election systems in India provide for a far more secure democracy than US election voting systems that compromise democracy because of a fundamental flaw in signature verification of mail-in ballots.
Dr Ayyadurai is described as the inventor of email as a fourteen-year old child prodigy in 1978. Now he has founded the research laboratory Election Systems Integrity Institute. The ESII in a pathbreaking research undertaken by engaging three forensic document examiners and three trained novices have come out with a startling disclosure that more than 11 per cent of the Early Mail Ballots in Arizona State had signature mismatches on them.
To those who are uninitiated to the system of voting in the USA: Unlike in India all voters in USA do not go to the polling booths to cast their votes. For those who want to stay at home or at their current location, the election authorities have made arrangements to send their ballot papers through mails. In Arizona 92% of the ballots were by mail. Voters have to sign on the envelopes in which they send the ballots in, to the polling centres. (In India, only a minute fraction of the voters get to cast their votes through postal services and this is known as postal votes).
The envelopes received at the election office are scanned and the image of the signature is juxtaposed with the image of the voters’ signature from voters’ registration file. “Trained novices have just 4-30 seconds to determine if the two signatures are a Match or no-Match. The no-Match have to go for a process called Curing ,” explained Dr Ayyadurai.
He said in Arizona, hardly 2.3 per cent (25,000) ballot envelopes were cured. “But our recent pilot study followed up with a larger extended study revealed 11.29 per cent (2,15,000 out of 1,91, 918 envelopes) should have been cured-a nearly ten times difference than the 25,000 the county cured”, disclosed Dr Ayyadurai.
Dr Ayyadurai further explained that “Signature Verification” was a critical path in how ballots in the stream of processing ballots were allowed or not. Even liberal media in US had called this process “WitchCraft,” “phrenology,” and “ridden with errors.”
If this is the case from Arizona, the details from 51 other States would be mind boggling, he said. “The flawed system of Signature Verification is the Big Elephant in the Room,” said Dr Ayyadurai. Since the county government denied requests from Dr Ayyadurai for the Id signature images used in the matching process, he had to depend on envelope images with signatures from deeds.
Dr Ayyadurai holds four degrees including two masters degrees in visual studies and mechanical engineering, a bachelors in electrical engineering abs computer science, and PhD in biological engineering (all from MIT). For a while, he was Scientist Level H in India’s CSIR based in New Delhi (2009). He is a Fulbright Scholar and Nominee for the US Presidential National Medal for Technology and Innovation.
