Aziz Khan, a Muslim from Madhya Pradesh, recalls the day when his son was born exactly on Janmashtami, 12 years ago. Khan, with no further thinking, went on to name his son Krishna.
“About 12 years ago on August 23, 2008, my wife conceived a baby boy, The doctor Praveen Jadia then asked for the baby’s name to be filled in for the form. I immediately named our boy as Krishna, as the day was Janmashtami,” Khan told news agency IANS.
“Although the doctors and other family members objected to it, I told them that a father has the right to give any name to his child,” Khan said.
It is indeed an overwhelming sight when people coexist in communal harmony.
