In a shocking revelation, NIA has said that individuals with great influence on many levels are involved in Kerala gold smuggling case. Reports also say that Ramis, the main accused has found terrorist links. The report surfaced soon after the second marathon questioning of former Kerala CM’s principal secretary and IT secretary Sivasankar IAS and Ramis.
Some of the individuals associated with Kerala gold smuggling case are inside and outside the country. The NIA report also said that top officials should be questioned to find the mastermind and others involved. The NIA report also said that diplomatic representatives should be also be questioned, said Mathrubhumi news quoting officials.
The NIA has found that Sarith, the main accused in the gold smuggling case, has smuggled gold through airports and ports, including Thiruvananthapuram. NIA had earlier questioned Sivsankar IAS for more than 10 hours that continued on the second day too. As per reports, the senior IAS officer has returned to state capital after interrogation.
