The Democratic Social Justice Party (DSJP) has strongly criticised the state government moves to torpedo PSC rank list and confirming temporary appointees in government jobs throwing all norms out of the window, and expressed solidarity with those protesting in front of the secretariat demanding justice on the issue.
“The thousands of unemployed youth have no financial means to get legal redress and hence DSJP appeals to the Hon. High Court to take up the issue suo motu,” the DSJP president KSR Menon said. “Already a number of PILs on the issue have been filed on the issue.”
“We deplore the Government move which is being done only with an eye on the coming elections and it is a grave injustice to thousands of unemployed youths in the state who had done well in the PSC exams,” DSJP said.
“DSJP expresses total solidarity with the PSC rank holders. The PSC has become a farce and the government which allows backdoor appointments show scant regard for merit and that is the reason why government service deteriorates over time,” the DSJP statement said.
