Former Chief Minister H. D. Kumaraswamy has made shocking revelations regarding a massive election scam allegedly orchestrated by the Congress party in the state. According to Kumaraswamy, the Congress party distributed ATM card look-alikes to each woman, falsely claiming that the cards contained ₹5,000 for their use in any shopping mall. He further claimed that a Congress candidate alone issued over 60,000 such cards across 42 constituencies.
During a recent press conference, Kumaraswamy presented the alleged ATM card replicas to the press, unveiling the extent of the scam. The cards were intended to deceive and influence voters, ultimately tilting the election results in favor of the Congress party.

These revelations follow the emergence of a video earlier showing the present Deputy Chief Minister allegedly distributing currency to voters during an election campaign. The combination of these incidents raises concerns about electoral malpractice, bribery, and the integrity of the democratic process.
Kumaraswamy’s disclosure of the election scam sheds light on the tactics employed by the Congress party to secure a majority in the elections. The distribution of counterfeit ATM cards, falsely promising monetary benefits, represents a blatant attempt to manipulate voters and undermine the fairness of the electoral process.
