Extremist Muslim organizations bar BJP workers and supporters from buying goods from shop in Lakshadweep

Extremist Muslim organizations have set up a board in Lakshadweep to bar BJP workers and supporters from buying goods from shops. It was in the shop called 3F that it was written on the card board that the BJP would not give goods.

The board was set up against the BJP in protest of Lakshadweep administrator Praful Patel’s crackdown. It is alleged that the board was set up in front of the shop with the tacit permission of extremist Muslim organizations.

The Kavaratti police had registered a case against director Aisha Sultana for allegedly making treasonous remarks during a channel discussion on Media One. The case is based on a complaint by Lakshadweep BJP president C Abdul Khader Haji. This was followed by a ban on the BJP in Lakshadweep.
