In the brutal act of dog tied to running car incident in Kerala, local police has arrested the driver of a car in which he tied the dog’s neck and tied it to the back. Minister AK Sasindran said in a Facebook post that the motor vehicle department will also take action in the incident.
As per the report, the Minister has directed the Department of Motor Vehicles to revoke the driver’s license. The vehicle was seized by the motor vehicle department and handed over to the police.
The incident happened yesterday when video visuals of an incident surfaced from Kerala’s Ernakulam on Friday where a dog was subjected to torture by unidentified persons. The canine was tied by a rope to a four-wheeler and was dragged for around 2 kilometres by the heartless accused.
Akhil, who was following the car, filmed the scenes. Looking from a distance, he thought the dog was running after the car. But when he got closer, he realized that the dog was strangled and tied to the back of the car. The youth yelled at the driver when he saw the dog being tied up and stopped the vehicle.
The registration details show that the vehicle belongs to Abdul Jaleel, a resident of North Paravur, Ernakulam. However, police has found that Yusuf, another resident of the locality was the driver who is now under arrest.
